About Mr. Doc

 

Mr. Doc joined the faculty of North Central High School in the Fall of 2006.   He graduated cum-laude from Coastal Carolina University with a B.S. in Bio-Medical Science and minors in Biology and Chemistry.  After teaching at CCU, Mr. Doc worked in radio and television for 6 years and most recently hosted the Doc & Tommy Show on RadioNow 93.1 in Indianapolis.  He later earned a Master’s Degree in Education from American InterContinental University .  He spent the last 2 years as a teacher in Pike township and 1 semester in Carmel/Clay Schools.  Mr. Doc received the Golden Apple Award in 2006 for his work as a science teacher at Guion Creek Middle School.

 

Mr. Doc was born and raised in South Carolina but has lived in Indy since 2000.  He really likes to cook and loves his dogs, Kona and Jackson (to the right).  He also has a passion for Hawaiian Shirts which is what he always wears.  He enjoys teaching and showing students that science can be fun!

 

 

 

 Kona (Yellow Labrador Retriever) and Jackson (Rat-Terrier) are Mr. Doc's are waiting for a cookie.
